About us
Excentric Metalworks was founded by Logan in 2024, in a small garage in Crossfield, Alberta. As a machinist, he became fascinated with metal spinning but quickly discovered that there were no metal spinners in Western Canada at the time. Determined to learn the craft, he tracked down a 1969 West German metal spinning lathe, had it shipped to Alberta, and undertook an extensive refurbishment to bring it back to life.
With the lathe operational, Excentric Metalworks began by producing small copper pieces like ladles and bowls—many of which are still available in the store today. Over time, Logan expanded his workshop, built larger tools, and transitioned into crafting the high-quality carbon steel skillets that Excentric Metalworks is known for today.
Driven by a passion for craftsmanship and durability, every piece is made with care, built to last, and designed to be a staple in any kitchen.
